Overview:

It is predicted that by 2021 India will have over 2.0 billion networked devices!More and more Indians are on social networking sites. LinkedIn in India now has more than 50 million users.This research is based on these hypothesis and aims at understanding how young ITI qualified Indians are developing career mindsets and how access to social networking platforms such as LinkedIn is helping these youths to set on a career journey.

Process:

The process started by traveling across India to talk to young Indians about their aspirations. They were given social probes through which we examined their career mindsets and how they innovatively they were using LinkedIn.

Outcome:

This is an outgoing project. One that aims at concluding by identifying youth trends regarding social networking and employment. And find new avenues for LinkedIn to connect to more youth.
